Now that I’m off work, Jeremy wants me to drive him to and from school. He’s in a special school program, and it’s been a struggle getting him to go to school every day. This little yellow bus shows up at 7:20 a.m. to get him to school by 8:45 a.m. Jeremy did anything he could to avoid getting on that bus, including locking himself in the bathroom and not coming out.
Now that I’m off work and I have a nice car that doesn’t break down, it seems that it’s my JOB to take Jeremy to school. I guess I’m grateful! At least he’s going to school now!
Jeremy especially likes it when his girlfriend Chandel meets him at school, and he struts around the school grounds showing off his "beautiful" girlfriend! For the first time in his life, my Jeremy is truly in love. He is 15 ½ years old. Sigh… Oh, young love!
Now that I’m home from work, I can lay down the "law" at my house, perhaps have a CHANCE of actually getting control? Or, do I ever truly have control? Do any of us?
What I can do is make ALL teenagers leave my house no matter what, especially if they don’t belong to me! I tell them, "Don’t you have a job to go to?" or "Don’t you go to school?" If you don’t go to school, find one and enroll! LEAVE MY HOUSE! If you don’t have a job, leave and go fill out job applications!
