Carrie’s story actually had a happy ending! Kind of unusual, don’t you
think? But, it is indeed a good thing. I came home from work this evening,
and who greeted me? It was Carrie! I was kind of shocked at first, thinking,
oh no! Maybe she ran away from home again! But, that wasn’t the case at all.
Apparently, Carrie had talked to her dad and explained why she ran away. Her
dad understood and apparently told Carrie whatever it was would never happen
again, and they decided to stay an extra couple of days so that Carrie could
visit with her good friends (my kids) who "rescued her" from a bad
situation! I was shocked and amazed. This is the kind of things you see in
movies, NOT in real life! So, I was thrilled that we could say good-bye to
Carrie in a proper manner before she went home to her family in North
Carolina.
Have a good evening everyone!
