Well, here it is! The long-awaited prom picture. I'm sure you've been
waiting on the edges of your seats for this one ... haha. Jessie had a
great time even though she didn't know her date very well. Actually, he
left after the prom and she stayed for the after prom, so she really
ended up having more fun with her friends than her date. I'm just glad
she had a good time.
Jessie disappointed me by quitting her job at Wal-Mart. She said she didn't like the manager and she gets too cranky when she's there for more than seven hours. I was so upset! She was making much more than most teenagers ($6.75 per hour) and I told her she needed to get a better work ethic. It seems that when the going gets tough, Jessie quits. I told her that no job was perfect and that it is rare to have fun while working. I also told her that it would look funny when she's still applying for her "first" job when she's 25! Well anyway, she's now working for Wendy's for $6 per hour. If only we could live our children's lives for them, it certainly would be less stressful on us.
Allie completed her scuba diving classes. She passed with flying colors! Although, she still needs to pass four more dives in July to be completely certified. Her dad told her he'd take her to Florida the next time he went on a dive, so she's very excited about that!
That's about all that's been going on with us. Talk to everyone again soon.
